BROOKLYN TECH's 10th ANNUAL ENGINEERS MONTH 2020!!!! The National Society of Black Engineers, the Brooklyn Tech Alumni Foundation, and ASCE are hosting Brooklyn Tech’s Tenth Annual Engineers Month (March 4th, 2020 to March 31st, 2020). It is a month dedicated to encouraging students to pursue engineering and engineering-related fields.The Brooklyn Tech Alumni Foundation recently released a five-year review of its Middle School Science and Technology STEM Pipeline Program, which recruits participants from Brooklyn middle schools that are underrepresented at Tech. Co-sponsored by National Grid and Brooklyn Technical High School, since the program began, 40 Percent of participants were black, 30 percent were Latino and 66.Now Brooklyn Tech has two confirmed cases on the faculty and still teachers are being asked to come to school for training on the approach remote learning that will roll out next week. Training that can easily be conducted remotely with teachers at home, safe from infection and transmission.
